Our target audiences are school years 11 to 14 and older, in schools, colleges, council chambers, army camps and prisons. With one of our plays for school years 6 to 7. The plays are booked by the week. There are ten performances and workshops a week, usually morning and afternoon and our preferred maximum audience number is 200. Our next tour visits, among others, London, Essex, Cheshire, Sheffield, Norfolk, Darlington, Derbyshire, Kent, Leicestershire and Jersey. All tours operate in the Spring and Autumn terms.

APE mostly uses Equity contracts and actors are paid equity rates. They are accommodated by APE throughout the tour and given two meal's each day when on the road. It is a six day a week contract, with the sixth day being a travelling day.

Also, Sean Gleeson ('Eastenders','West End with 'The Wier'), Julian Kerridge('Dangerfield', 'Breaking the Code', 'Killing Me Softly'), Shaun Dooley ('Warriors', National Theatre production of 'Brassed Off','Dalziel and Pascoe', 'Coronation Street' and now playing the Vicar in 'Eastenders'), Stephen North ('London's Burning', national tour of 'Fever Pitch', 'The Bill' and 'The Day Britain Stopped'), Matt Kane ('Buddy', 'Sweat' and 'Cabaret'' in the West End, numerous number one tours, starring role in 'The K Hole', writer and director for 'Beautiful People' and 'Pills,Thrills @ Automobiles', scriptwriter for numerous other films and plays, Matt Robinson in the 'Tribe' series shot in New Zealand, Dan Jarvis ('EastEnders'), Esther McAuley at National Theatre, and there is many many more.
